The flesh comes in colours of white and red, red being more dominant in flavour. The fruit is harvested through the summer months here in Australia and is available at fruit and vegetable venues and market stalls.
When the fruit is in plentiful supply I like to buy extra and place it in the freezer so I can enjoy this amazing fruit throughout the year.
