GOLDEN BAKED GRANOLA

BREAKFAST AT ITS BEST — SIMPLY DELICIOUS
An easy, home-baked golden granola, full of plant-based goodness. Enjoy the delicious taste of slow-baked nuts and seeds combined with naturally sweet dried fruits.
Serve with your favourite yoghurt, fresh seasonal fruit and your choice of plant milk for a wholesome and satisfying breakfast.

EQUIPMENT: 1 sheet tray with baking paper, 1 medium and 1 large mixing bowl
OVEN TEMPERATURE: Bake at 150°C or 300°F
RECIPE
300 g or approximately 3 1/3 cups jumbo rolled oats
80 g or ½ cup almonds, roughly chopped
30 g or ¼ cup hazelnuts, roughly chopped
40 g or ¼ cup macadamia nuts, roughly chopped
35 g or ¼ cup pepita seeds
40 g or ¼ cup sunflower seeds
25 g or ¼ cup sesame seeds
¼ - 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
5 Tablespoons neutral oil (make it oil free leave out the oil and replace with 1/2 cup (125ml) spring water)
1/4 cup (60ml) maple syrup or other liquid sweetener
¼ cup dried golden sultanas (add after baking)
¼ cup dried cranberries (add after baking)

METHOD
Add oats, nuts, seeds and salt to a large mixing bowl and stir to combine.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the maple syrup and water. Whisk together until well combined.
Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir thoroughly until everything is evenly coated.
Spread the mixture evenly over a sheet tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake for approximately 35–45 minutes, or until lightly golden. Stir the granola every 10 minutes and rotate the tray to ensure even baking.
Keep a close eye on the granola during the last 15 minutes, as it can brown quickly.
Once golden and crisp, remove from the oven and allow the granola to cool completely.
Add the dried sultanas and cranberries to the cooled granola and stir to combine.
Store in a clean glass jar or airtight container.

Serve with your favourite yoghurt and plant milk.
